Study in Algonquin College

With over 175 programs and three campuses, Algonquin is one of Canada’s largest colleges, and yet it proudly nurtures a friendly, student-oriented atmosphere. All of our programs effectively combine theory and practice-the best way to prepare for your career.

Algonquin was established as a community college in 1967 in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa. Over the years, we have been internationally recognized for:

  • Diverse degree and diploma programs that answer to the needs of today’s employment market.
  • A focus on applied studies that allow you to gain practical experience through field or co-op placements.
  • A student-centred approach that helps promote success through comprehensive resources, diverse support services, and dedicated faculty and staff.
  • Modern facilities and strategic partnerships that ensure students have access to the quality education and skills training required to launch a rewarding career.

The International Education Centre at Algonquin College is your home away from home. We help you adapt to your studies and life in Canada, as well as connect you with the college community and other students.

We are also committed to internationalizing our learning environment. We provide opportunities for Algonquin faculty and staff to travel internationally and develop broader cultural perspectives.

The Centre is actively involved in training projects with private and public institutions, organizations, and governments around the world. Students attending our satellite campuses abroad can transfer credits and complete their studies in Canada.

“Algonquin provides a true opportunity to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and learn. You’ll get a chance to work closely with top industry professionals, and develop the skills that will make you employable!”
