 Baking and Pastry Program:

Our accredited Baking and Pastry associate degree program is designed to deliver superior pastry training and applicable business skills. You will learn the science behind baking and start developing your creative design capabilities in our commercial-grade facilities.

You will work at your own 1.83 meter counter outfitted with all the necessary equipment. Our kitchens also boast large-scale equipment to help you understand mass production.

You will also learn about cost control, food safety and the discipline that is imperative for those who want own or manage their own business. We blend kitchen time with classroom instruction, adding a focus on General Education that adds breadth and depth that is essential for future leaders.

If you already have an A.A.S. in Baking and Pastry and want to complete your Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts, Business or Hospitality Management, we have a program just for you. After completing your associates degree you may continue on to earn your bachelor’s degree from Kendall in as few as two years, through our degree completion pathways in Business, Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
