Diploma in Hotel Management awarded by CTH:

The Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry and to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the industry.

Successful completion of the CTH Diploma programme gives direct entry to the CTH Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management awarded by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality.

Assessment for all units is via external exams held 3 times a year.

Entry Requirements:-

  • ‘A’ levels or overseas equivalent (e.g. 50% marks in school learning exams after 12 years) or 5 GCSEs.
  • English language competency e.g. IELTS 5.5 (for overseas students)


12 months (plus any additional English course required)
