Work Experience:

This ‘hands-on’ programme has been developed in close collaboration with industry consultants nationally and internationally. You can expect a focus on real-world learning with live project work, local day visits and guest speakers. Residential field study visits may be available which will add to your existing practical experience.

Career Opportunities:

Recent Tourism graduates have gone onto positions within major tourism companies, economic development agencies, tourism development bodies and local authorities. There are also opportunities in regional and national government in the UK and overseas. Plus, you’ll be equipped for many positions with the wider service sector and for moving on to postgraduate research.

Entry Requirements:

  • ‘A’ level or overseas equivalent (e.g. 50% at 12 years education) or 5 GCSEs
  • English language competency e.g. IELTS 5.5

Duration: 3 years (plus any additional English course required)
