PROGRAMME LEVELS:

Undergraduate:

  • Certificate Programmes: Non-degree programmes, composed of elective courses, for students with at least two years of academic course work in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor’s Programmes: Three-year study programmes, leading to a bachelor’s degree, open to students with qualification comparable to the Dutch university preparatory education. Students who wish to enrol need to be fluent in Dutch, except for the BSc in Economics and Business, which is taught entirely in English.

Graduate:

  • Master’s Programmes: One or two year study programmes, leading to a master’s degree, open to students with qualifications comparable to a Dutch university bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional Master’s Programmes: Extended master’s programmes combining in-depth theoretical knowledge with practice based learning, including a three-to-six month period of work experience.
  • Research Master’s Programmes: Two year master’s programmes, comparable to MPhil Programmes, preparing students for a career in research.
  • Advanced Master’s Programmes: Master’s programmes for specific groups of professionals already holding a master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree combined with at least two years of relevant work experience.
  • PhD Programmes: Study programmes, designed for students who are in the process of pursuing a PhD degree in a certain field.
